Join us at Martin’s Park on Saturday April 27th where Kari Percival will read her book How to Say Hello to a Worm. 

This event is to celebrate the completion of our EPA funded tree walks in the communities of Dorchester, Mattapan, and East Boston. These tree walks aimed to raise awareness for the importance of trees in our urban environment and the vital role they play in improving the community. We were supported by an Environmental Justice grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. We will also be giving away 50 free trees.

Join Speak for the Trees for our Community Celebration, celebrating our Community Tree Walks project, at the Edgewater Food Forest on Saturday, April 27th from 11 am to 4 pm.

On Friday April 26th, Mission Hills Neighborhood Housing Services will be giving away seedlings as part of their Arbor Day celebration!
